Company Procedures for Management of Health & Safety
Proactive Monitoring
P.A. Hollingworth & Co Ltd prioritises a safe and healthy work environment through proactive health, safety, and welfare measures. Our comprehensive Active Monitoring program goes beyond identifying readily apparent hazards.
Key aspects of our program include:
Regular workplace inspections: We conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with ever-evolving health and safety standards.
Proactive planning for safety: We establish clear objectives to promote a safe work environment and prevent accidents before they happen.
Adaptability to changing operations: In addition to regular inspections, we perform additional checks when our company’s operations undergo significant changes in nature or scale.
Continuous improvement: These inspections serve a dual purpose: to identify areas where our Health & Safety Policy or other company policies may require revision and to assess the ongoing effectiveness of our safety program.
Reactive Monitoring
In addition to Proactive Monitoring, P.A. Hollingworth & Co Ltd has a policy of “Reactive Monitoring” which looks at any accidents or dangerous occurrences/incidents and records how they occurred and how they were reported and investigated. Such information is then fed back to the active preventative monitoring system. Where a discrepancy is identified, both forms of monitoring follow the system of response and, where considered necessary, carry out a review of the relevant Risk Assessment and Method Statement to ensure all future operations are safe and notify all operatives of any change required.
