To construct and new build a lounge to service the main house with a basement under and a link corridor to the main building. Also completed a full refurbishment of the existing house. The single-storey lounge was constructed over the cast concrete basement with a block and beam suspended floor over. A cast concrete staircase provided access down to the basement from and external lobby and the basement was fitted with racking for storage. The lounge itself consisted of a small kitchen which provided the lounge only with drinks and washing-up facilities. The lounge area is a double-aspect lounge providing views out to the ponds and gardens surrounding the house. A covered walkway provides all-weather access to the stairs to the basement below and the plant room which services the building. Finished in face brickwork with aluminium windows and doors, covered in a pitched roof and weathered in slate to match the main house.

The existing house containing several bathrooms, bedroom and lounge and kitchen space was also fully uplifted by way of some alterations to the layout, electrical uplift, all wet areas completely refurbished, replacement of all internal doors, skirting and architraves and fully redecorated. The project resulted in a new looking building with an additional lounge and storage space.
