  • DURATION:11 months

To replace existing portacabin classrooms with a new building, providing three large classrooms, a toilet block and a link corridor to the main school. The finished classrooms were fully equipped with storage units, bookshelves and craft areas, including sinks. The construction was of a single storey building built over traditional foundations with ground bearing slab over, with facing brick and block walls and a pitched roof over weathered-in fibre cement slates. This project was completed on time and on budget and has transformed a village school, long overdue for more space.
