Cliff-Top Property – Enabling & Early Works

Project Introduction

Set within an impressive cliff-top setting in St Margaret’s, Kent, this project involves the transformation and refurbishment of a distinctive residential property, with early works establishing the foundations for the wider redevelopment programme.

The initial phase focuses on carefully managed enabling, strip-out and demolition works, preparing the property for the main construction programme while protecting the existing building and its surroundings.

The works include internal and external strip-out, targeted demolition, mobilisation and site establishment, together with the design and architectural input required to progress Building Control submissions.

Early project activities also encompass the establishment of site welfare and security, waste management, health and safety procedures, site supervision and preparation of the Construction Phase Plan.

This preparatory phase provides a controlled and well-organised platform for the subsequent main works, with careful consideration given to the property’s unique cliff-top location, existing fabric and sensitive surroundings.
