P A Hollingworth & Co Ltd were contracted to upgrade of passive fire protection, upgrade of communal emergency lighting and refurbishment of staircase and corridors.
The works involved replacing all service cupboard doors to 30-minute fire protection, replace existing fire check materials with modern intumescent coated slabs, wraps, collars and various other products used in the prevention of the spread of fire. Upgrade existing flat doors to 30-minute fire protection. Using Envirograf Intumescent coatings, we fireproofed timber handrails, doors, skirtings, steel supports/lifts and walls to for both 30/60 minute protection, as well as Class 0 & 1 spread of flame in certain areas.
The replacement of all communal lighting to LED energy-saving systems was also undertaken along with the upgrade of emergency lighting.
