The large 3 bedroom property was completely stripped back of all internal finishes and all existing extensions and outbuildings demolished. The rear of the property was completely opened up which linked the new single storey open planned extension together.
Externally, we have re-rendered the entire house after removing existing render and replaced all doors and window and timber cladding. All gutters, facias and downpipes and the garage roof have been replaced. The entire garden has been re-designed, transforming the long garden into a series of spaces to create dining and entertaining areas, formal lawn and planting areas, wildflower meadows and a kitchen and utility garden. The soft landscaping is linked together using a combination of clay brick paving, Limestone paving, crushed cockle shell paths and bespoke willow screening.
Mechanically and electrically the property has had a complete renewal and upgrades to modern systems. An Air Source heat pump system has been installed to provide heating through underfloor heating to the large open plan living areas and radiators to the remaining rooms. We have also installed new log burners, hearths and surrounds to both existing fireplaces and a new 2-way log burner in the new extension. The property has been completely re-wired and upgraded to a modern Smart Home system using Lutron. The new system allows for the customer to have complete control of their lighting, heating, security and much more within the palm of their hand.
The internal fit-out included 3 new bathrooms, a large open plan kitchen, utility area, bespoke joinery, parquet flooring and decorations throughout.
